Why Alpha Apparels

We take pride in our extensive knowledge in a wide variety of fabrics., garment accessories and overall garment construction. We offer a basket of products, in both woven and knitted fabrics, through diverse locations :

- INDIA – Men’s and ladies woven’s and knits etc across regular and sustainable versions of prints, dobbies, jacquards, yarn dyed stripes/checks, plains, tencels, twills, oxfords, modals etc all sourced and produced in a wide variety of weights and blends.

- BANGLADESH – Men’s / Women’s / Girls / Boy’s T-shirts, Fashion T-shirts, Polo Shirts, Sweatshirts, Joggers, Swimwear across regular and sustainable versions of jerseys, piques, jacquards, yarn dyed stripes, tencels, modals etc all sourced and produced in a wide variety of weights and blends.

• All our units are well equipped with Japanese and German machinery (Juki, Brother, Pegasus, Casement, Kansai) and operated by highly skilled workers, whilst under direct supervision of quality supervisors.

• Sourcing and supply of quality fabrics and accessories from India, China & Southeast Asia. We work with well-known suppliers of trims out of China wherein it is possible to produce all kinds of labels, patches, zips, tags etc (Nilorn, Youberham, Welltex).

• Embroidery, washing and other finishes – we outsource all our washing and embroidery. As required these may be done at various specialist facilities most of whom have all necessary certifications.

• We understand the importance of having timely and accurate information at all times and therefore we supply the customer with weekly critical paths/production status reports.

• We follow strict quality control measures from the checking of fabrics and trims right down to the packing of garments in cartons at every stage of the garment manufacturing process. This helps to reduce re-work and re-checking at the end of the line, improve efficiencies and lead times.

MANUFACTURING FACILITIES - BANGLADESH

Our manufacturing facilities in Bangladesh manufacture garments such as Men’s, Women’s and Children’s knitted polos, t-shirts, bottomwear, jackets & sweaters for leading international brands meeting all compliance requirements.

These manufacturing facilities have the ability to produce 500,000 pcs a month. The estimated exports from garment from Bangladesh is nearly $4 Billion. In close proximity to hundreds of mills within a 100 km radius-makes it an ideal location for garment manufacturing activities due to easy availability of raw materials.

There are plenty of independent printing and advanced embroidery units ensuring adequately trained labour available as and when required. Capacities can be added in-house as required depending on utilization, fairly quickly.

MANUFACTURING FACILITIES - INDIA

Alpha's India division is located in Umergaon, Gujarat and Tirupur (Tamil Nadu). Between Umergaon and Tirupur, India produces a significant percentage of all garments for leading internaonal brands meeting all compliance requirements. The estimated garment exports from India is nearly $1.3 Billion.

These Umergaon facilities manufacture men's shirts, shorts, chinos, women's tops and also such products requiring special hand embroidery. Our manufacturing units here can handle 150,000 pcs per month across shirts, chinos, and shorts.

The Tirupur knits facilities manufacture men's, women's and children's polos, tees, hoodies, sweat pants etc. From these units we can manufacture 50,000 pcs per month across products. Capacities can be added in-house as required depending on utilization, fairly quickly.

SAMPLING

Alpha Apparels Ltd has a special focus on sampling and product development. We have a dedicated sampling unit at our facility in Bangladesh and also in our Mumbai sampling studio. These units are equipped with the latest machines and experienced operators to handle any kind of sampling with a short lead-time. Our teams in the UK, India & Bangladesh provide customers with fabrics / trims solutions as well as designs as and when they are required. We develop ranges for some of our clients via these teams. They also have strong sourcing capabilities across various fabrics and garments in a range of colours, quality, texture, weight etc depending on what the seasonal trend is. We forecast and keep an eye on trends by following WGSN forecasting and exhibitions.

HOME TEXTILES

In 2014, Alpha Apparels ventured into the home textiles market via the trading/sourcing route. Currently the products sourced are made ups and beach towels, daily use towels, wash cloths and bath robes etc for the American and Middle East markets. Current capacities for these items are 100,000 pcs per month across above mentioned styles.

FABRICS

We deal with fabrics across the spectrum both in 100% cotton and synthetic blends in counts ranging from coarse to superfine across all kinds of blends (modals, viscose, polyester, tencels) in both woven and knitted fabrics. Fabrics are sourced from best of the textile mills within the country (Alok, Arvind, Birla, Donear, Century etc) and, if need be, from overseas sources too.

QUALITY CONTROL MEASURES

Our team monitors quality control for all production, in-house or otherwise, based on all levels of AQL as required by individual clients. Apart from our own internal quality control we work with reputable 3rd party inspection agencies who we use for random AQL’s depending on our customers’ requirements. Our quality control begins from the checking of ordered raw materials to in-line, end of line checks to final checking before goods packing. Post packing cartons are also inspected for any damages/incompliances especially in the monsoon season.
